Kariobangi Sharks midfielder Sven Yidah has confirmed that he is leaving the club.

 

Yidah has been a key member of the team since joining them in 2016 and while confirming his departure, the player thanked the club for his time with them.

 

In a Tweet, the midfielder said: “My time at time at Kariobangi Sharks has come to an end today. I am grateful for the support I have received from the management, coaching staff, my fellow players and our fans throughout the time that I have been here.

“From January 2016 when I joined this project we have done a lot together. I am happy to be part of the history making teams that saw us earn promotion to the Premier League, winning the first major trophy in FKF Shield Cup and many other great things, together.

 

“I have learned a lot as a player from this family and for this reason I wish the club all the best in the future.”

 

The player has been linked with a move to Tanzania giants Yanga SC before but reports indicate that he might join Kenyan Premier League newbies Nairobi City Stars in the coming season.
