Harambee Stars camp was boosted by the arrival of the Zambian based players as they began their preparations ahead of the Zambia friendly on Monday at the MISC Kasarani.

 

The team held two training sessions on the day on their second day in camp with the keeper Ian Otieno, and Timothy Otieno making the team. Other faces included Simba SC duo of Joash Onyango and Francis Kahata with Belarus based Mohammed Katana being the other foreign-based player who was with the team.

Barnsley United utility man Clarke Oduor is expected to be with the team before Wednesday so is Eric Johanna, Joseph Okumu, Cliff Nyakey, Anthony Akumu, Broan Mandela and Masud Juma.

 

A total of 16 of the 23 players named in the final squad for the match took part in the evening session.

 

The friendly against Zambia set for Friday, October 9, 2020, at the Nyayo National Stadium starting at 4 pm EAT will act as part of the Stars preparations ahead of their AFCON Qualifiers against Comoros next month.
