AFC Leopards head coach Anthony Kimani has insisted that their main aim this season is to challenge for the title.
Leopards have been slated to face bogey team Western Stima in their opening game of the season and according to Kimani while speaking about the coming season, their main aim is to pick as many points as possible.
“The goal is to ensure that the team picks as many points as possible and this has to start with the opening fixture. We respect all opponents but our aim is to win matches and challenge for the title,” Kimani told the club’s official portal.

Kimani further exerted confidence with the team saying that he believed that the new players they have added to the team have added the needed stability and depth they were looking for.
“The team is in good spirits and with new players coming in we believe they have added the much-needed aspects in the team, definitely what we needed in order to have more stability and depth,” he added.
Leopards have been in training for the better part of the month and after the Stima game, they will have a date with newbies Bidco United, Zoo FC, Nzoia Sugar FC and either Kisumu All-Stars or Vihiga United in their first games.
