World Football Governing body FIFA through its President Gianni Infantino has congratulated Nick Mwendwa on his re-election as FKF President.
Mwendwa garnered 77 of the total votes cast over the weekend to retain his seat; Infantino thanking Mwendwa for his football effort in the letter which is in the possession of Pepeta.

Part of the letter said: “Please accept my warmest greetings and sincerest congratulations on your re-election as President of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) for the 2020-24 period.
“I would also be grateful if you could please convey my felicitations to the members of the National Executive Committee elected and re-elected with you in Nairobi,” he stated in the letter.
“I finally seize the opportunity to thank you for all your efforts, your work and your important contribution to the development of our sport and the promotion of its values in your country and your region.”
