Tusker FC midfielder Humorey Mieno has urged his side to be wary of the threat that will be posted by Kakamega Homeboyz when both sides meet in week seven of the Kenyan Premier League action.

Tusker has been improving since the start of the new season and while they drew against Sofaaka in their last outing, Mieno believes that they can pick the entire points in Bukhungu if they give their all.

“We have no option but to come back stronger (after the Sofapaka setback) in the game against Homeboyz. I haven’t watched them play this season but going by the results they have had since the start of the season they are not an easy side to play against.

“They have a good technical bench and will be a tricky opponent but I think we have prepared well to pick the entire points in the match,” Mieno said.

Mieno sentiments were echoed by teammate Jackson Macharia who feels that they will have to improve on their attack if they are to get the required results against the Nicholas Muyoti side.

“I think we have been playing well but fell short in the final third in our last game. It’s something e trained on this week and proved that we can score goals in our friendly (against FC Talanta). We didn’t create a lot of chances in the game (against Sofapaka) and it’s something we will have to work on in the game,” Macharia added.

Tusker is currently placed third on the log with 11 points with Homeboy, who they meet on Saturday, currently occupying 11th place.
