Serbian-based midfielder Richard Odada has been named in Harambee Stars 36-man provisional squad for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Uganda and Rwanda.

Odada who is currently in the books of Metalac FC is seen as a replacement for captain Victor Wanyama who has been excluded from the squad.

FC Talanta’s Enock Momanyi is another surprise inclusion in the team with Mulee calling two goalkeepers from Kariobangi Sharks to compliment Ulinzi’s James Saruni and Zesco united’s Ian Otieno.

While there is a place for Kenyan Premier League top scorer Eric Kapaito, defender Clarke Oduor, who has started the season brightly with the English Championship side Barnsley FC, fails to make the cut.
