Japan-based striker Ismael Dunga is among the new faces in the Harambee Stars provisional squad named by coach Engin Firat for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Uganda and Rwanda.
Dunga is joined by Belgium-based Wilkins Ochieng and Nairobi City Stars’ Timothy Ouma who have been handed debut calls ups. There is a return for Swedish-based Eric Johanna and Anthony Akumu in the team with KCB’s Michael Mutinda and Philemon Otienoaslo making a comeback.

Stars are scheduled to kick off residential training on November 6, 2021, in Nairobi and will be up against Uganda on November 11, 2021, at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende, and host Rwanda on November 15, 2021, at the Nyayo National Stadium.
