Swedish giants AIK won’t allow left-back Eric Ouma to leave easily after it emerged that the player is attracting interest from France.

Ouma was a key member of the team last season where they lost the league title on goal difference with the player having been nominated for the defender of the year award where he came second.

Pepeta has since learned that Ligue One side Lorient is one of the teams that has shown interest in the player and might submit an official in the coming weeks as they seek to bolster their ranks.

According to a source, AIK wants more than KES 30M for the player but the suitors are only willing to part with €1.50m (Appx KES 19M) which is his current value according to figures in the Transfermarket.

While the AIK is already back for preseason, Ouma is yet to join his teammates and will leave this weekend for Sweden with the hope that his suitors and AIK can agree on a fee before the month ends.
