In his place, Isaac Kipyego will now be leading the teams where he will be assisted by Elvis Rupia and goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan.

“AFC Leopards SC head coach Patrick Aussems on Thursday announced that Isaac Kipyegon has been appointed the club captain with immediate effect.

“Aussems also announced that Kipyegon will be deputized by Elvis Rupiah and Benjamin Ochan. The trio will lead the team as Ingwe intensifies its title hunt in the remaining Premier League matches and the FKF Cup.

“Aussems and the technical bench wishes the new player leadership team all the best in their new roles,” the statement said.

Kamura was handed the club’s armband in December 2018 from Duncan Otieno, who moved to Zambian Premier League then.
