Departing Kenya Police FC midfielder Duncan Otieno is attracting interest from two clubs in Tanzania.

Earlier last week, Otieno who has previously featured in the Zambian top flight is said to have secured a move to an unnamed team in Botswana but Pepeta sources can reveal that the move has been hijacked.

“The player has had offers since leaving Police and while the Botswana one was close, there are two teams in Tanzania who have offered better deals and the player is contemplating taking one. The decision rests with him and what he wants but he should be leaving the country soon for a new adventure,” the source said.

While the source didn’t reveal the teams, Pepeta has learned that one of the teams said to be after the player is Singida Big Stars who have since roped in the Kenyan duo of Harrison Mwendwa and Duke Abuya.

Otieno has been one of the most established midfielders in the country in recent years where he has featured for AFC Leopards and Posta Rangers in the Kenyan Premier League, Nkana FC, and Lusaka Dynamos in the Zambian Super League.
