Swedish giants AIK has officially unveiled Kenyan striker Henry ‘Meja’ Atola.
The player landed in Sweden earlier in the week and according to the club in a statement, he will be part of the club’s preseason preps next week.

“AIK Football’s Kenyan new acquisition Henry Atola, better known in his home country under his artist name “Meja”, has landed in Stockholm and Sweden. On Monday, he will do his first training with his new team when AIK starts the pre-season at Skytteholms IP.
The player who signed a five-year deal with the club last year but was loaned back to Tusker said of his arrival: “The first experience I have had here is the cold otherwise I am happy to be here and I hope that I will adapt.”
Meja will now team up with another Kenyan in Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma who almost helped the club to the Swedish league title last year; the former Gor Mahia having been nominated for the defender of the year award.
It will be the second club for Meja in his professional career since leaving Kakamega High School in 2019. The player will don jersey 30 in his first season at the club.
