Kenyan striker Ismael Dunga has been loaned out to Japanese third Division side Kamatamare Sanuk for the remainder of the year.

In a statement on Friday, Tosu noted: “We are pleased to inform you that Ismael Dunga has decided to transfer to Kamatamare Sanuki for a limited time. The period is from February 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022.

“Due to the contract, Ismael Dunga will not be able to participate in all official matches between Sagan Tosu and Kamatamare Sanuki during the loan transfer period.”

Dunga joined the Japanese side in January 2021 from Albania side KF Vllaznia but has found games hard to come by. He has only managed nine appearances for the club during that time all coming as a substitute.

He joins a Sanuk side who are rebuilding after finishing last in the J3 League last season.
