Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia have confirmed the signing of Jules Ulimwengu on a two-year contract.

 

Confirming the new acquisition, Gor Mahia said in a statement: “Burundian international Jules Ulimwengu joins Gor Mahia on a two-year contract deal becoming the latest addition to the squad.”

 

The player had been reported to be on the radar of Gor rivals AFC Leopards as well as a number of clubs in Tanzania after propelling Rayon Sports to the Rwandese Premier League title where he scored 12 goals.

Apart from Rayon Sports, the 21-year old striker has previously featured for Vital’O FC, LLB Sports 4 Africa FC, Sunrise FC and recently Rayon Sports FC of Rwanda.

 

He becomes Gor Mahia’s 13th signing in the window after the arrival of Andrew Numero, Kennedy Owino, Benson Omala, John Ochieng, Sydney Ochieng, Samuel Njau, Andrew Juma, Levis Opiyo, Bertrand Konfor, Tito Okello and John Macharia
