Tusker FC have confirmed the signing of striker Cliff Oruko and midfielder Ronny Otieno on deadline day.

The brewers who have been on a signing spree adds the duo to a squad that has lost striker Ryan Ogam to Austria as they seek to wrestle the league title from Kenya Police FC.

In confirming the signing of the duo Tusker said, “Tusker FC has completed deadline day acquisitions of forward Cliff Oruko and midfielder Ronny Otieno, strengthening the squad ahead of the new campaign.

“The two players, both highly regarded for their skill, energy and commitment, join the Brewers to provide added depth and competition across the attacking and midfield departments. They have both penned one-year contracts with the club.”

On his side, the club’s head Coach Charles Okere added: “We are very pleased to have secured Cliff and Ronny before the close of the window. They are exciting, hungry players who bring the right attitude and quality to our squad. We believe they will quickly adapt to our system and make a big impact for us this season.”

“We have been looking to strengthen our wide areas and the two will bring in a lot of energy and competition. Cliff is a player who can also play as a leftback so that gives us additional cover and options.”

The duo has already joined up the team in training, and are part of Tusker squad in Kisumu for pre-season training.
