Nairobi United is set to learn their opponents in the 2025/2026 CAF Confederation Cup group stage today, 3rd November, at 1400 EAT, when the draw will be held at the studios of CAF’s broadcast partner, SuperSport, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Naibois, who qualified for the group stage in their debut continental season after eliminating Etoile Sportive Du Sahel of Tunisia in post-match penalties in the second preliminary round after an aggregate draw of 2-2, are among the sixteen teams that advanced from the second preliminary round.
The sixteen teams that advanced to the group stage draw are: Zamalek SC (Egypt), USM Alger (Algeria), Wydad AC (Morocco), CR Belouizdad (Algeria), Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa), Stellenbosch FC (South Africa), Azam FC (Tanzania), Singida Black Stars (Tanzania), ZESCO United (Zambia), AS Maniema Union (DR Congo), San Pedro (Ivory Coast), Olympique de Safi (Morocco), Nairobi United (Kenya), AS Otoho (Congo), Djoliba AC (Mali), and Al Masry SC (Egypt).

The group stage draw will see the 16 teams divided into four groups of four teams (Groups A-D). The 16 teams will be seeded based on their performance in CAF interclub competitions over the past five seasons.
POT 1 will have Zamalek SC, Wydad AC, USM Alger, and CR Belouizdad. POT 2 has Stellenbosch FC, Al Masry SC, AS Maniema Union, and Djoliba AC de Bamako. POT 3 has Kaizer Chiefs FC, AS Otohô and POT 4 has FC San Pedro, Nairobi United FC, Olympique Club de Safi, Azam FC, Singida Black Stars, and Zesco United. Nairobi United will be drawn with one team from each of the higher-seeded pots (Pot 1, Pot 2, and Pot 3).
The group stage matchday one is slated to take place between November 21 and 23.
