Stephen Ochola tenure as Ulinzi Stars head coach started on a false note after going 1-2 down to Bidco United in a clash staged at Ulinzi Complex on Wednesday.
Barely 24 hours after his appointment, Ochola had been mandated to lead the soldiers against a Bidco side who had just lost one of their last four games. He had done well in his first test until in the second half when his side conceded two goals in a span of three minutes.

The new tactician would have felt undonw by a first half miss by Ibrahim Shambi which should have given them a deserving lead at the break when but when Collins Atike and Victor Kunyili scored in the second half, he looked like he had lost the battle.
Atieke pounced on a long ball from Idris AMadi to give the Anthony Akhulia charges the lead before Kunyili capitalized on some poor defense from the hosts to burry a Thomas Wainanina pass.
The soldiers managed to pull a goal back from the penalty spot through assistant captain Boniface Muchiri but it proved to be a mere consolation for the soldiers who now finds themselves placed 15th in the 18 team league.
The contrast on the table now sees Bidco rise to second on the spot as they wait for tomorrows games where Gor Mahia and Posta Rangers win should see them drop from their positions.
