“Aquino has not permanently signed for us as reported by others. She will be here for three months and will return to her parent club once this time is over. We want to do well in the Champions League and the coach felt that she will be a valuable addition for the time she will be with us,” Eric Douglas Samir, the club’s Communications Officer, told Pepeta.
Simba Queens wont be part of the competition this season with Tanzania set to be represented by JKT Queens. Aquino’s Buja found themselves in Group A of the CECAFA Zone Qualifiers together with Kampala Queens of Uganda, Ethiopia’s CBE, FAD of Djibouti, and Yei Gaskets of Sudan.
