Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka hit a hattrick as England ran 7-0 winners over North Macedonia on Monday night.
Harry Kane broke the deadlock midway through the first half, guiding home Luke Shaw’s cut-back before Saka bagged his first when he lashed in at the near post after being found by Kyle Walker. Marcus Rashford rounded off a successful first half for Gareth Southgate’s side when he poked in from six yards out just before the break.
The moment of the match came at the start of the second half when Trent Alexander-Arnold’s long ball up-field was brought down by Saka before he unleashed a stunning half-volley which rifled into the top corner. Saka completed his first-ever career hat trick moments later, running on to Kane’s through ball before sliding the ball into the bottom corner. Other goals were to be scored by Kalvin Phillips and a penalty from Harry Kane.
What a night! 🔥
