Scotland came from a goal down to beat hosts Norway 2-1 on Saturday night to maintain their perfect start to Euro 2024 Qualifiers.
Norway had dominated much of the proceedings in the game and it was not a surprise when they took the lead through an Erling Haaland penalty after the Manchester City striker had been brought down in the box by Ryan Porteous.

With the game set to end in favour of the hosts, Scotland restored parity when Lyndon Dykes showed great persistence to capitalize on a loose ball in the Norway defence to poke past the goalkeeper. And with the very next chance they scored a dramatic late winner when Dykes laid off for Kenny McLean to slot home superbly for 2-1.
That victory leaves Steve Clarke’s side top of Group A with three wins from three, while Norway still awaits their first victory of the qualifying campaign.
In another Euro Qualifier on Saturday, Belgium were held to a 1-1 draw by Austria in Brussels. Visitors’ captain David Alaba made his 100th international outing in the game they took the lead in the first half through Orel Mangala who turned Michael Gregoritsch’s low volley into his own net.
The host’s perseverance paid off shortly after the hour mark when Lukekabio teed up Romelu Lukaku for a drilled equalizer but they still remain behind Ralf Rangnick’s side.
