Bandari FC went top of the Football Kenya Federation Premier league following their 3-0 win over FC Talanta on Sunday.

The Mombasa-based side, who have only lost one game this season, however, should be wary of both Kakamega Homeboyz and Gor Mahia who maintained their 100% record into the new season following wins over Vihiga Bullets and Sofapaka FC respectively.

In their game against Ken Kenyatta’s Talanta, Harambee Stars winger Abdallah Hassan helped himself to a brace in the first half with the other goal coming from Ugandan William Wadri late in the game.

In the weekend games, Kariobangi Sharks put six goals past a hapless Mathare United who had to play a chunk of the match with a man less following the red card to Meshack Muyoga minutes to the halftime break; Felix Oluoch helping himself to a hattrick in the game.

Defending Champions Tusker FC recorded their first win of the season by seeing off Wazito FC 2-0 at the Ruaraka Grounds.

The loss means that the moneybags are yet to win a game this season; an outing that sees them placed second from bottom in the league after registering just two points from their five games.
