Kenya Police Bullets players celebrate after hitting nine goals past Kisumu AllStarlets to go top of the FKF Women’s Premier League.

Kenya Police Bullets produced a scintillating display to crush Kisumu AllStarlets 9–1 in an FKF Women’s Premier League clash staged at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu, on Sunday, November 09.

The result sent the defending champions to the top of the standings having arrived in the game placed third on the log with nine points, level with Vihiga Queens but behind on goal difference, while Trinity Starlets had temporarily claimed top spot after their 4–2 victory over Kisped Queens on Saturday.

Emily Moranga and Margaret Kunihira were the starlets of the show, each bagging a hat-trick as the Law Enforcers emphatically dismantled their hosts. The Bullets began on the front foot, and it didn’t take long for Moranga to open the scoring in the 10th minute. Ten minutes later, Ugandan forward Kunihira doubled the lead with a thunderous free kick.

The defending champions continued to dominate and struck twice in quick succession before halftime, with Medina Abubakar and Moranga finding the target in the 41st and 42nd minutes to give Police a commanding 4–0 lead at the break.

Moranga completed her hat-trick early in the second half, converting from a Kunihira assist, before Kunihira turned scorer once again to make it 6–0 by the hour mark. The Ugandan international later sealed her own hat-trick, her first in the Kenyan Women’s Premier League, as Rebecca Okwaro and Mercy Mwachi added to the tally. Kisumu managed a late consolation goal to avoid a shutout.

In other Women’s Premier League matches, Vihiga Queens and Ulinzi Starlets played out a 1–1 draw in a top-of-the-table clash at Moi Stadium. Ruth Khasoha scored for Vihiga, while Jackline Chesang netted for Ulinzi. Kibera Soccer Women’s struggles continued as they fell 2–0 to Madira Soccer Assassins at the Ebusakami Grounds in Vihiga County. League newcomers Kayole Starlets held Bungoma Queens to a goalless draw at the Bungoma National Polytechnic.
