While this was the highest amount Gor has collected this season from Match Day tickets, a week ago, the club collected their lowest amount this season having pocked just Ksh 360,400 against APS Bomet.

Fans however haven’t been pleased with how the players fared in the derby having lost to a Julius Masaba strike in the 24th minute.

For Leopards coach Fred Ambani, the result extended his unbeaten record in the storied rivalry, marking the third time he has avoided defeat in the Mashemeji Derby as a coach.
