Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat has been feted in the TA Club Award Ceremony held in Istanbul, Turkey on Wednesday.
Firat received recognition as the most successful Turkish Coach overseas due to the work he has done with the Kenyan men’s national football team. Additionally, at the same ceremony, Galatasaray clinched the Team of the Year Award, while Vincenzo Montella was honored with the Coach of the Year Award in Turkey.

Firat has been leading Stars since 2021 and has only won three games in the 12 he has been in charge. Stars are currently on three points in the 2026 World Cup Qualifying group after losing to Gabon and beating Seychelles in what was Stars’ last game.
