Four Premier League clubs progressed to the next round of the EFL Cup after sailing past their opponents on Tuesday night.

Taking no chances, the Englishman had a strong lineup for the tie after not being in action for more than a month. In another match of the night, Youri Tielemans, Ayoze Perez, and Jamie Vardy all scored as Leicester City ran 3-0 winners over MK Dons as Wolves beat a resilient Gillingham thanks to late goals from Raul Jimenez (through a penalty) and Aït-Nouri in extra time.
Southampton came from behind to beat Lincoln 2-1 as Che Adams netted twice for the south coast club. It was the League One side who took a shock lead inside the opening two minutes as Saints goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu palmed a header into his own net.
