Bandari FC head coach John Baraza has shifted attention to the league after being eliminated from the Football Kenya Federation Cup (FKF Cup) competition.

Bandari were dumped out of the cup competition by Bungoma Stars who beat them 2-1 and according to Baraza, theirs now is to go back to the drawing board.

“We knew it was going to be a difficult game because football has changed and there no longer big or small teams. Football has three results, to win, lose, or draw and today we lost so we have to go back to the drawing board and ensure we come back strongly,” Baraza said after the game.

“Our focus now is on the league where we will be traveling away to Muranga (Seal)and ensure that we get the required results,” the former Sofapaka FC tactician added.

Bandari has had a resurgence in recent games after a slow start to the season and are now placed fifth on the log with 31 points, just two points off second-placed Nairobi City Stars.

They will be up against a Seal side who have been struggling of late and who have dropped to 11th on the log after a brilliant start that had them placed second at a particular point of the season.
