Jude Bellingham scored with the last kick as England from behind twice to hold Belgium to a 2-2 draw in a friendly staged on Tuesday night at Wembley.

Kobbie Mainoo and Ivan Toney made their first starts for England as Belgium came to Wembley for one of the final matches before this summer’s European Championships.

In a calamitous opening few minutes for England, John Stones limped off with an injury before Jordan Pickford’s howler saw Youri Tielemans score into an open net. But England were level a few moments later as Ivan Toney won and then scored a penalty to net his first for his country.

Belgium were clinical at the other end of the pitch though as Tielemans got his second of the evening on 36 minutes after a terrible mistake from Lewis Dunk.

At the Santiago Bernabèu, Rodri scored two penalties as Spain and Brazil battled to a 3-3 draw. The Man City man opened the scoring after 13 minutes and a second came soon after as Dani Olmo jinked his way into some space and finished expertly.

Just before the break, however, Rodrygo pulled one back for the visitors. The turnaround for Brazil was completed just after the break as Endrick came off the bench and made it two from two for the teenager. With just a few minutes remaining, however, Spain got their second penalty of the match which Rodri converted.

The South American side drew level with the very last kick of the game however as Lucas Paqueta scored his own penalty to earn a draw.

Olivier Giroud was at it again as the veteran striker netted to help France beat Chile 3-2 as Germany beat Netherlands 2-1.
