Liverpool may have been handed a major blow as defender Andy Robertson was forced off with injury on Wednesday night.
The Reds have already had their fair share of injury issues this season, and remain in two competitions, meaning that their squad is stretched to its limit.
But now they could be missing another star for the coming games. Robertson, who has already missed a large chunk of the season through injury, went down injured in the first half of Scotland’s friendly clash against Northern Ireland, with his side trailing 1-0.
Though he was able to walk off, it was not a pretty sight for Liverpool or Scotland fans, with the veteran having his head buried in his shirt at times and looking otherwise distraught, leaving plenty fearing the worst.
Liverpool face Brighton on Sunday, and it seems unlikely that Robertson will be available to Jurgen Klopp for that game.
