Harambee Stars group opponents in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, the Gambia, have named their squad ahead of next month’s tests against Seychelles and Gabon.

In what is coach Jonathan McKinstry’s first tests as the head coach of the Gambia, the Irishman has handed Stade De Reims forward Adama Bojang his first international call up same to youngsters Dembo Saidykhan, Sainey Sanyang, Edrisa Ceesay and Mahmoudou Bajo.

There is a recall Omar Gaye and Musa Juwara to the side Musa Juwara, who has 9 goals involvement (6 assists, and 3 assists) for Vejle joining Alasana Manneh from Danish Superliga.

Adama Sidibeh, who scored in St. Johnstone’s last five matches, was rewarded with a call-up. James Gomez, Hamza Barry, Ibou Touray, and Jakob Mendy are all out injured, while Assan Ceesay and Ali Sowe are recovering from injury and surgery.

The Gambia will play at home to Seychelles on June 8th in Berkane (Morocco) before playing away to Gabon in Franceville. They have zero points after their first two games in Group F and are scheduled to come up against Harambee Stars in March 2025.
