Kenya Under 23 head coach Ken Odhiambo has named his final squad that will do duty for the country in the forthcoming COSAFA competition.

Odhiambo has included Under 18 prodigies Aldrine Kibet, Elly Owande, Ibrahim Wanzala and Amos Wanjala with AFC Leopards captain Kaycie Odhiambo also making the cut. Others who will be part of the team will be Gor Mahia’s Austine Odhiambo and Tusker’s Chrispine Erambo.

The team will predominantly feature players under the age of 23 for a tournament that is scheduled to take place from June 26 to July 7, 2024, in South Africa.

The tournament will provide a platform for preparation of the 2027 AFCON that is set to be hosted in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Kenya has been drawn in group A with Zambia, Comoros, and Zimbabwe. The team is set to depart for South Africa on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
