With reports flying around about his future, IF Elfsborg midfielder Timothy Ouma has risen higher in the Transfer market.
Ouma has had a solid start to the season where he has been a key figure for the club in the league and in the UEFA Europa League where they beat Italian giants AS Roma in last week’s encounter to boost their chance of making it past the group stage of the competition.

The Kenyan international had been linked with a move to Serie A in the summer transfer window but a deal broke down in the last minute after Empoli refused to pay the asking fee asked by Elfsborg as they considered it exorbitant.
The transfer didn’t end in the summer as Premier League side Brentford are said to be one of the many teams monitoring the player as they work in roping him in the short January 2025 window at a time when the Swedish top-flight league would have been over.
The interest from teams has seen Ouma move to fourth, in the roster of the most expensive Kenyan players. The former Nairobi City Stars midfielder is now valued at €2M (Apprx sh 283Million) according to figures released by the transfermarkt.
Ouma’s captains in the national team Michael Olunga (Al Duhail) and Joseph Okumu (Reims) remain the most expensive players in the country as they are valued at €9M (sh 1.2B) each and are followed closely by defender Zak Vyner (Bristol City) who has a value of €2.8M (sh 397Million).
Former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama (Montreal Impact) falls a position down as he is now valued at €1 (sh 141 million) the same value as left-back Eric Ouma (Rakow). Daniel Anyembe (Viborg) €900k (sh 127Million), Johnstone Omurwa (Abha) €500k (sh 70 Million), Eric Omondi (UTA Arad) €450k (sh 63 Million) and Jonah Ayunga (St. Mirren) €450 and Collins Sichenje (Vojvodina) €450k completes the top ten roster.
