The aggregate winner of this tie will advance to the second round of the qualifiers, where they will face either Djibouti or Rwanda. Whoever emerges victorious will earn a coveted spot in the CHAN 2024 finals.
This edition of the CHAN tournament will be historic, as it will be the first time that three nations—Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania—jointly host the event.
The tournament will run from February 1 to 28, 2025 with co-hosts, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania having already secured their places in the finals, leaving CECAFA with one additional qualification spot up for grabs.
