Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat has benched captain Michael Olunga in their tie against Namibia this evening.
Stars and Namibia won’t be participating in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with the game being just a formality and Firat has taken this opportunity to field some of his fringe players; Norway-based striker Alfred Scriven coming on for Olunga for his first start for the national team.

Bryn Omondi maintains his place in goal from the squad that was held by Zimbabwe in their last game and will have a defence of Daniel Anyember, Eric Ouma, Johnstone Omurwa and Anthony Akumu to protect him.
Austin Odhiambo of Gor Mahia has been drafted into the starting team and joins a midfield that has Richard Odada and Duke Abuya with Ronney Onyango and John Avire covering the wings.
