Neighbours Tanzania beat Guinea 1-0 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar Es Salaam on Tuesday afternoon to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Tournament.
Tanzania had beaten Ethiopia last week to boost their qualification chances but had to go past Guinea who had left it late on the same day to beat the Democratic Republic of Congo. The wins by both countries last week meant that Guinea was above Tanzania with two points ahead of the last group game today.
