The Kenyan football men’s national team, Harambee Stars, have dropped two spots in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola World Rankings.
The move comes in a month when the Engin Firat side was denied a chance to participate in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after being held by both Zimbabwe and Namibia in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

Away from the AFCON Qualifiers, Stars recorded another 1-1 stalemate with South Sudan during the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers; the move seeing them slip from 106th to 108th globally, while also falling to 25th in Africa.
In the CECAFA region, by qualifying for AFCON, Tanzania climbed six spots, from 112th to 106th, while Uganda remains Africa’s 14th-best team at 88th in the world rankings.
In the CAF region, Morocco remains the highest-ranked team despite dropping to 14th globally. Senegal, now 17th, overtook Egypt as the continent’s second-best team after impressive showings in recent matches.
