Uganda Under-17 head coach Brian Ssenyondo has named his squad for the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025.

The competition that will attract 16 teams will take place March 30th to April 19th, 2025 in Morocco with Uganda placed in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, neighbors Tanzania and Zambia.

Uganda, placed in Group A, will face hosts Morocco in their opening match at El Bachir Stadium on March 30, before taking on Tanzania and Zambia in the group stage.

The tournament also serves as a qualification pathway for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar later this year, with the top 10 African teams securing slots.

The delegation is led by John Chrizestom Kalibala, while Brian Ssenyondo will be assisted by Ronald Ssali and Kenneth Magada who is the goalkeeping coach. Other key officials include fitness coach Simoen Massa, trainer Dennis Kizito, team manager Bashir Mutyaba, team doctors Micheal Kamu Gumisiriza and Ivan Kulika, Kits manager Ddamba Veron team Media officer Joel Kivumbi and Peter Mbogo who is the delegation staff.
