KCB’s winless run stretched to five matches after they settled for a 0–0 draw against Bidco United in a Sportpesa Premier League match staged at the Kasarani Annexe on Friday, 14 November.
The Bankers, who arrived on the back of four games without victory, once again struggled to find any cutting edge in the final third. Despite flashes of improvement after the break, Robert Matano’s side rarely threatened and ultimately never looked likely to score.

Bidco United, though marginally more enterprising, also failed to convert their chances, extending their own goalless streak to three consecutive matches. The point leaves Bidco in sixth place, while KCB remain rooted in 12th, a far cry from their early-season ambitions.
Bidco started the livelier of the two teams, with Victor Kunyili arriving unmarked at the back post to meet Clinton Asiago’s cross, only to send his effort over Bonface Munyasa’s goal. It proved to be the first of several missed opportunities for Anthony Akhulia’s men, who continue to struggle in front of goal despite creating good openings.

Shortly after KCB’s Kennedy Odhiambo was stretchered off with an injury, Idris Amadi tested Munyasa with a fierce free kick from the left. The goalkeeper, keen to redeem himself after his earlier blunder for Mathare United, produced a confident save to keep the contest level.
Bidco pushed again in the 20th minute when Asiago fired wide following Collins Akite’s layoff, before Dennis Murunga failed to steer a cross on target at the back post. KCB, sluggish and uninspired in the first half, mustered only one notable attempt when Jack Ong’anya blasted over from distance in the 42nd minute.

Munyasa remained alert after the interval, reacting superbly to push away a deflected free kick early in the second half. His opposite number, Issa Emuria, soon found himself busier as KCB improved going forward.
Emuria denied Richard Omondi seven minutes after the hour mark and later parried a stinging effort from the lively Francis Kahiro with under 20 minutes left. Bidco continued to waste promising opportunities, with Akite dragging a shot wide after a well-worked move involving Herman Ngala, another reminder of their ongoing goal-scoring woes.
The final chance of the match fell to Omondi, but Emuria produced a brilliant point-blank save, leaving Matano visibly frustrated on the KCB bench. Both sides will take the point, but for two teams struggling in attack, the stalemate only deepened the questions surrounding their forward lines as the season rolls on.
