Harambee Starlets striker Cynthia Shilwatso and her EDF Logrono side will return to training on Thursday 3 September after a corona scare in the team.
The club had suspended training last week after a staff member had tested positive for the virus; a setback that forced the players to conduct individual trainings.

The club however on Monday reported that they were returning to training after the latest test results confirmed another two positive cases with those affected already separated from the group.
“EDF Logroño reports that after conducting the COVID-19 detection test on the entire squad, coaching staff and workforce of the club in contact with the first team, all have given a negative result, except for two people who their positives were added to the one already detected on the weekend of August 23.
“The two new cases have been totally asymptomatic and the person affected in the first place with mild symptoms is already fully recovered.
“The members of the staff of the first team with a negative result continue with the training plan from their homes established by the club’s technical staff and taking advantage of the online platforms, pending that after the established quarantine period, as of this next Thursday, September 3. The players who are receiving permission, they can return and resume training in the municipal facilities of the Ciudad del Fútbol of Pradoviejo,” a statement on their portal said.
Shilwatso joined the team earlier in the month.
