Rwandese giants APR has denied claims that they are set to sign strikers Jacques Tuyisenge and Meddie Kagere.
There had been reports that the duo would reunite at APR with Tuyisenge having left Petro Atletico last month and Kagere said not to be in good terms with the Simba head coach.
The reports however were denied by APR spokesperson Clever Kazungu who said they were not aware of such an agreement.

“I am not aware of any talks between APR and the two players. Every strong team in East Africa would love to sign them, but, APR signing them or trying to is a rumour at the moment,” Kaungu told The Times.
Tuyisenge and Kagere played together at Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia this coming after both were teammates at teammates at Police FC, in the Rwanda Premier League.
28-year-old Tuyisenge has strongly been linked with a move to APR while Kagere reportedly flew in on Wednesday to finish the talks with the army side. Both players wants a reported sign on fee of USD50,000 something that is said to be beyond the club’s budget.
APR last month also completed the signing of striker Yannick Bizimana and four others as they step up their preparations for the domestic league season and the CAF Champions League.
