Gor Mahia head coach Steve Pollack has left the country for his native Finland for holiday according to the club.
There have been rumors that the tactician is on his way out of the club with other tabloids reporting that the club was keen on re-hiring Ze Maria but according to the club’s assistant chairman Mr Francis Wasuna, the tactician had asked for some day off.
“The coach (Pollack) requested for some days off and we gave him 10 days and he will be travelling tonight to Finland.

“The plan is to have him (Pollack) back after 10 days but we are not sure of any quarantine programs the other end. If it happens and his 10 days are interfered with, then an extension of his stay in Finland might be necessary,” Wasuna told the club’s website.
The tactician who joined Gor Mahia in 2019 after his stint with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko is said not to have been impressed by how the club has transacted business in this window.
Apart from Gor Mahia and Kotoko, Pollack has had stints with Inter Tuku, Berekum Chelsea, King Faisal Babes, FC Viikinggit among other clubs.
