Former Gor Mahia midfielder Khalid Aucho has changed clubs in Egypt after joining Ittihad of Alexandria.

 

Aucho has been in the books of Egyptian Premier League Misr El-Makkasa since last year after joining them from India’s second-tier side Churchill Brothers.

 

The 27-year-old becomes the Ittihad’s first signing in the summer as the team seek to strengthen their side ahead of the new season; Aucho leaving Makkasa with two goals in 21 appearances.

Aucho arrives at the club with a lot of experience having featured for Jinja Municipal and Water FC in his native Uganda, Tanzania giants Simba SC, Kenyan Premier League sides Tusker FC and Gor Mahia, South Africa’s Baroka FC, Red Star Belgrade and OFK Beograd of Serbia and West Bengal and Churchill Brothers of India.

 

The midfielder has two goals in his 45 appearances for the Ugandan national team and has featured in two African Cup of Nations Tournaments.
