Harambee Stars winger Ayub Timbe has confirmed that he is leaving Chinese side Beijing Renhe after three years.

Pepeta had earlier revealed that the player is set to move to Belgium after failing to feature for his side this season despite being fit.

According to a source close to the player’s camp, his agent is working round the clock to find him a new club in the current window with a return to Belgium muted as a possibility.

Confirming his departure from China, Timbe wrote on his social media accounts: “Thanks for the 3 beautiful years Beijing Renhe!! I wish the club and everyone behind it good luck for the rest of the season!!!”

Timbe last action came in the colours of English Championship side Reading FC where he was on loan with the player returning to Belgium for his holiday.

The winger joined Renhe in 2017 on a three year deal from Belgium side Lierse and has gone to score 17 goals in 49 appearances for the club. Apart from Reading, Renhe once loaned the player to Chinese side Heilongjiang Lava Spring where he bagged two goals in six appearances.

In Belgium, apart from Lierse, the winger has represented Genk, Anderlecht and Germinal Beershot.
