Harambee Stars left-back Eric Ouma has expressed his delight after making his competitive debut for Swedish giants AIK.
Ouma was introduced in the 71st minute for Erik Ring in their 2-0 win over IFK Goteborg and went to help his side to the win and according to the player, he couldn’t have been prouder of the achievement.
“I have been waiting for this day for a long time and it finally came. Going out there in the colors of AIK was a proud moment and mine now is to work hard and give my best for the team,” Ouma told Pepeta.

The player was coming from an injury he sustained during the preseason and according to him, sitting out isn’t something he enjoyed but thanked the club medical team for ensuring that he was back in action.
“No player wants to sit out with an injury and it was a tough moment. The medics have been great and my teammates have been superb during the period with their support. I’m just glad that I am back to help the team,” he added.
Ouma will be hoping that he can get more playing time when they travel to face Norrkoping in their next game on October 26.
