Gor Mahia captain Kenneth Muguna has insisted that they are ready to face any team despite a tricky start.
Gor is scheduled to take on Tusker Fc, Ulinzi Stars, Mathare United, Sofapaka FC in their first three fixtures but according to Muguna, the team is preparing well and will be ready to face any opponent when the time comes.
“The fixture is great and we have a lot of respect for the teams we are going to meet but I believe we will be ready by next month to play any team,” Muguna told Pepeta.

Asked if the tough start will be beneficial for them in their CAF Champions League assignment, Muguna said he didn’t feel so as they had plans for the competition even without the league games.
“The truth is no one knew when the league would have resumed but we had our name in CAF already so we were going to participate anyway and preparations for that were already in place. I can’t say the first league games will play a major role in our CAF games but they will be good games for the team,” Muguna added.
After the opening three fixtures, Gor will be up against newbies Bidco United and Kakamega Homeboyz.
