Kenyan forward Handawalla Bwana has left MLS side Seattle Sounders for Nashville SC the club has announced.
Bwana arrives at Nashville in exchange for versatile midfielder Jimmy Medranda as well as $225,000 with the fee for the Kenyan expected to rise to $25,000 if certain incentives are met.
In a statement, Nashville General Manager Mike Jacobs said in a club statement: “Handwalla is one of the exciting young attacking prospects in the league, and we feel very fortunate to be able to add him to our group.

“His ability to threaten defences both on and off the ball makes him a constant attacking presence, and his work rate on both sides of the ball make him a menace to play against.”
The 21-year-old arrives at his new club having scored four goals in 32 games across three seasons with Sounders.

The player will now fight for a place in the team alongside new acquisition Alex Muyl, Randall Leal, David Accam and others.
The Sounders are tied for first place in the Western Conference while Nashville currently sits eighth in the East with Bwana expected to make his debut for the club against Victor Wanyama’s Montreal Impact on October 28.
