Making a debut for a new side is an occasion that many players will never forget in their Football Career and Bolton Omwenga was the latest Kenyan to represent the country in a foreign league.

 

Having been introduced as a substitute for Biashara United in their 1-1 draw against Dodoma Jiji on Friday, the player couldn’t hide his joy by going to Facebook and describing the outing as a ‘dream come true’.

In an interview with Pepeta, the player admitted that he was anxious but was looking forward to a great season with his team.

 

“For the moment am much anxious but I’m looking forward to having a good season here and achieve more with the team. It has taken longer to get to the pitch but finally am here and ready to deliver all of my best and grow as a professional player, Omwenga said.

 

The player was in the books of KCB FC before being lured by Tanzania by another Kenyan in Francis Baraza who is the head coach of Biashara.

 

In the Friday game, the defender helped his side to a 1-1 draw against Dodoma Jiji with the result seeing them rise to fifth on the log with 18 points this after playing eleven games.
