Rwandese giants APR might miss the services of striker Jacques Tuyisenge when they face Gor Mahia in their CAF Champions League tie slated for November 28 in Kigali.

 

APR will be up against the Kenyan giants in the competition’s preliminary round and while The Times of Rwanda confirms that Tuyisenge has been out injured, APR coach Mohamad Adil Erradi insisted that they were in a good shape and were ready for the weekend tie.

 

“We are in good shape, and every player is focused on winning the first leg against Gor Mahia. Hopefully, we can go for the second leg with a good lead,” Adil said.

29-year-old is Tuyisenge is recovering well according to the reports and has been the talk about this tie having been in the books of Gor Mahia previously.

 

Despite their confidence heading into the game, the Rwandese side has never gone beyond the second round in the elite competition nut their new coach has a set a target of making it to the group stage this season.

 

Gor Mahia who will be having coach Sammy Omolo on the touchline for the tie is expected to leave the country on Wednesday or the tie but might miss the services of midfielder John Ochieng who picked a knock in their weekend preseason tournament that involved City Stars and Posta Rangers.
