Kenya’s Harambee Stars has dropped in the latest rankings released by FIFA.

 

The Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee side drew one and lost the other as they came up against Comoros in the 2021 African Cup of Nations Qualifier staged in a two-legged affair earlier in the month.

 

Stars are now ranked 104 in the world with Comoros moving two places up to position 130 in the ranking.

Uganda remains the highest-ranked nation in the CECAFA region where they are placed 79th globally with Rwanda (133), Tanzania (135), Burundi (138), Ethiopia (147), South Sudan who beat Uganda this month climbing five places up to position 163.

 

In Africa, Equatorial Guinea and Burundi are the biggest movers on as they both gained 10 places with Senegal remaining the highest-ranked country in the continent. The top three globally are also unchanged with Belgium top followed by France and then Brazil.
