Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia have been eliminated from the CAF Champions League by Algeria side CR Belouizdad following their 1-2 loss (Aggr: 1-8) on Wednesday 6, January 2020 in a clash staged at Nyayo Stadium.
Gor faced an uphill task entering the match after going down 6-0 in the first leg held in Algiers last week but they were given a lifeline when Jules Ulimwengu gave them an 18th minute lead after some good start from the home side; a goal that was to be the difference heading into the half time break.

The visitors however had other ideas as they upped the tempo in the second half with Sayaoud, restoring parity in the 78th minute before Bellahouel gave them the lead four minutes from time.
The loss means Gor Mahia will now head to the CAF Confederations Cup where they will be entering the final qualifying stage with a win on aggregate score handing them a place in the competitions’ group stage.
