Three red cards were dished on Saturday 16 January, 2020 as the Football Kenya Federation Premier League entered its eighth week.
The first red card of the week was witnessed at the Mbaraki Sports Ground where William Wadri received his marching orders in the 40th minute in the club’s 4-3 win over Kakamega Homeboyz.

The other red card was witnessed at the Sudi Grounds where Sofapaka finished their game against Nzoia Sugar FC with ten men after Lawrence Juma was sent off deep in stoppage time; the visitiors going down 2-1.
The other red card was in the match involving Tusker FC and Kariobangi Sharks where the Robert Matano side were to play with ten men for the better part of the second half after Rodgers Aloro received his marching orders in the 53rd minute; the team beating their opponents 4-2 to leapfrog them on the league log.
The game was not short of drama though as substitute keeper Mike Wanjala made two penalty saves after coming on for the injured Robert Mboya at the break.
