In a Q and A session with his Instagram fans, the former KRC Genk winger revealed that the travel restrictions into Japan had delayed his debut for the Andre Iniesta led side but was confident that he will be joining his teammates soon.
“I hope I’ll be featuring for them soon. I have not yet joined them due to Covid travel restrictions in the country,” Timbe answered when asked why he had not featured for his new side yet.
Since his signing, the Japanese side who are now placed fourth on the J1 league table have played four games winning three and drawing the other with their next match set for Saturday 13 March against Nagoya Grampus.
